One of the most successful coaches in US Water polo history has written two manuals for coaches and players as part of a water polo series. Dettamanti, winner of a record eight NCAA National Championships, as well as a holder of numerous NCAA records as a coach for 25 years at Stanford University, has made available the techniques and strategies he has acquired over a 50 year career in the sport as a player and coach. Book 1 of the series, BASICS OF SUCCESSFUL COACHING is available in English for use by coaches at all levels. Book 2 of the Series, FUNDAMENTALS OF PLAYING WATER POLO, is available to players, as well as coaches. Another book by Coach Dettamanti, UNDERSTANDING WATER POLO, describes the basics of the game for players, parents and fans of the game, is available both in print and as an E-book publication.
