This is a course reader assembled by Professor Matthew J. Holian. It contains 14 chapters from Rittenberg and Tregarthen’s Principles of Economics textbook These chapters contain all microeconomic concepts commonly taught in a basic introductory college economics course, including comparative advantage, demand and supply, competitive, monopolistic and oligopolistic markets, and related concepts. In addition this reader contains chapters on four microeconomic areas of study: Public Finance and Public Choice, Antitrust and Business Regulation, International Trade and Environmental Economics.
