The Golden Age of Heroes is over, and almost forgotten are the days of capes and catchy monikers. For those who display abilities, Supers, to live means staying hidden. A weapon called the Nullifier, capable of rendering Supers helpless is mass-produced by Draco Industries. Once this weapon was only used to stop Supers who broke the law, but it quickly became the means by which they were controlled and pushed into submission. Whispers of Supers being abducted, tortured, and killed spread through the streets. Ezekiel Blackwell, a young Super and cage fighter, discovers there is more truth to these whispers, and more horror, than any dared to pursue.
