The quiet atmosphere of an ancient Northumbrian monastery is shattered when an archaeological dig turns up the skeletal remains of a baby. Buried with the baby are the skeletal remains of a domestic cat. Could this have been a ritualistic killing? And why have the long-time dead of the the sleepy village of Little Chunwick returned?
