A self-conscious man with body image disorder learns beauty from a free-spirited bohemian woman. Gripped by the inability to connect with interesting women, Harry Armpetz seeks help from his unbalanced hallucinogenic friend, a Swinging Monk, and a feminist therapist who has a problem with her Freudian-based education influence being one of the first women to complete the psychology graduate program at the premier local University in the 1950s. Eddie is coming of age and the rug from his upbringing is pulled from underneath him with the introduction of the World Wide Web. He finds consolation in Junior who, although inexperienced in life, offers a voice of rationale concerning why things are the way they are. Things are desperate as the other teenagers in the neighborhood can afford and find a purpose to use a computer. Eddie is left outside to roam the streets on his bicycle at night, seeking connections only to find himself sinking deeper into mischievous behaviors.
