Each of us lives on the edge, using our dependence upon "personal crutches" to cope with our shortcomings. Pills and powders carry us far away from what intimidates; hiding behind the guise of mental illness works for some, while others simply choose to end it all with a loud and vicious bang! The most common form of escape, however, is alcohol. As a boy, Roger Troxall longed for love and respect. Later, as a succesful ad exec and family man, he had it, only to lose it after toppling over the edge and descending into a dark abyss that very well may have been the clutches of hell!
