Wrong Place

Lt. Maltik Kellinar, Protection and Enforcement Officer with the Thayloran Directorate, was returning from a mission where he had to extradite an Off-Worlder back to his home world for seriously violating a few laws of Thaylor. His Patrol Ship passed by a solar system which his ship’s Intelligent, an onboard, sentient computer, told him that it sensors had detected a world, in the next system, that was composed mainly of water. Since Thaylor was only 1/4 covered by water, Maltik was intrigued and decided to visit the blue planet. He lands near the Glen Canyon Dam, got hurt, is taken to a hospital and later, taken to an Air Force Research Facility because the Doctors at the Hospital discovered too many anomalies within his anatomy. Maltik met Lt. Chase Griffin, an Air Force Security Officer and his Dog, Captain. Chase helps him to escape by finding the ship and telling the Intelligent what has happed to his pilot. They are stalked by an NSA Agent who is against the alien from talking to the United Nations.
