McGregor U.S. Marshal

This is a fast-moving western novel set in lawless Territorial Kansas around the 1870's. It follows the exploits of a U.S. Marshal and afterwards his son as marshal during the time when marshals were killed faster than the Marshal Service could appoint a new marshal. Romance for both were difficult as duties superceded a love life.
