These stories were not written in comfort. They rose out of silence, poverty, and prayer. I did not set out to impress, nor to document. I wrote because I needed to breathe. Each page carries a piece of the journey, the bread we could afford, the mercy we trusted, and the grace that visited us unannounced. We did not have many things, but we had faith. That faith walked with us when nothing else could.
