A Slippery Substance

Athol Firth is driving home from a party when he runs over a girl's body lying on the road. He hides the body in bushes planning to come back for it the next day, when he has sobered up, but when he returns the body has disappeared. Unable to get her out of his mind, Athol tries to discover the girl's identity. He disappears leaving his version of the events on his computer. Is it a confession? Is it the truth? Police Officer Melanie Alsop, who has her own problems, becomes involved in the investigation and tries to sort out fact from fiction.
