One Last Thought

This work of fiction is about a life threatening emergency onboard a submerged submarine. You are with the damage control party from start to finish. Witnessing the changes that come over the men as the danger increases through to the final climax. Though inspired by several actual emergencies onboard different submarines this is not about any one submarine. At the end of the story the author pays trbute to those men lost and on eternal patrol onboard the USS Thresher SSN-593.
