Hiroshima Sunset

A tender love story set against the background of the British Commonwealth Occupation Force, sent to Japan at the end of WW2. Related through a soldier's journal, it gives a rare insight into a little known aspect of Australia's postwar responsibility for the Hiroshima prefecture,where thousands of Australian soldiers helped disarm the Japanese war machine. As they administered the devastated wasteland that was once Hiroshima, some fell in love. This is one soldier's story.
