Jonny Blair Poetry: Collection 1 Too Many Promises (September 1997 – March 1998) Too Many Promises is Jonny Blair’s first global poetry release and dates back to September 1997 to March 1998, the last 6 months of being a child. The mood is inspired by teenage days growing up in Northern Ireland, starting a journalism course in Belvoir Tech in Belfast and dreaming of a change in life. The collection contains 14 poems, all housed under the dreamy expectation of keeping too many promises. This is the first in a 1990s collection from Jonny and part of his bigger “Dark In The Sun” compilation of his teenage poetry.
