Up in his office, Mark shuffled through his creative concepts like a deck of cards, placing his bets. He’d spent the familiar long hours hunched over his laptop, and longer ones scribbling on his notebook by his bedside. He had portfolios full of options, drawers full of thoughts, and absolutely nothing fit to air. He tried to deny it, but the realisation grew ever stronger. That magic spark had gone.
