Microsoft PowerShell: Learning the Essentials

Microsoft is among the power houses in technology and computer creation. Since its inception in the late 1970’, the company has taken its line of products and services in all areas of the technology market. They are now renowned for, among other things, the creation of operating systems as well as a plethora of software. Among the newest software from the mega company is the updated Windows PowerShell. The program was first launched in late 2006 and has continued to be improved; serving as an optimal configuration tool. The updated PowerShell model enables the automation of tasks and uses the combination of scripting language and a command-line shell to configure tasks and items. It operates on two primary platforms; .NET Core and .NET Framework. This new version is designed to be compatible with several operating systems which include Windows 7, macOS10.12 and beyond, Linux 7 and Fedora 25 and 26.
