An account of two weeks in Ethiopia, largely in Tigray, by a UK aid agency volunteer. Development projects, funded by aid organisations such as CAFOD, are witnessed first hand. Daily life before and after the projects are decribed through the eyes of a westerner. The account gives an insight into Ethiopia, its people and its challenges for the future. It climaxes with the Great Ethiopian Run, a showcase for the Couuntry as it approaches its third millennium.
