In the winter and spring of ‘07/’08, Atlanta suffered its worst drought in history. As an emergency measure, people were asked to conserve water for their own survival. This they did. Then, in late spring of ’08, the water department of the city raised the water usage rates to make up for what they lost in revenue from the conscientious citizenry (!) Everyone knows what it means to live in a world that “money makes go round”, or so the saying goes. No one questions it. Yet, we all know it ain't so. (No, really… money has nothing to do with the earth's spin.) So then, what would a world without dollar signs look like? Suppose you awoke one day to find that money was no longer in circulation. Would your children evaporate? -- Followed by your wife and then yourself? Would you be stunned if that turned out to be the best thing that ever happened to you? Surprise, surprise, that world is upon us. There is no housing crisis. The entire system is tanking.
