Creative Freedom: Mosquito Poems and Stories is a project written by the 2022 S2 class of Sandwick Junior High School in Sandwick, Shetland. The poems and stories were inspired by the local wreck of a World War II Royal Air Force Mosquito aircraft which the class visited in September 2021. The poems were created with the guidance of author Elizabeth Wein, during her time at Sandwick Junior High as Author in Residence in March 2022, with the support of the Scottish Book Trust.
