"Some of you are probably wondering what this book is about, and I am sure that after thumbing through it you have seen that it has what appears to be poems and doodles and such. Keen observation. This is a collection of thoughts and doodles that I made over about a ten year period. (Except “Fish”. That was done in 1st grade, I think.) These words deal with struggles of being a teenager battling cancer, and of someone that wants so much to love and grow. It deals with the pain and lack in others, and mostly a lack I've felt in me. And it is about having to get it out. Trying to really live."
