2006 Texas Restaurant Industry Operations Report

To conduct the 2006 survey, Virtue Group mailed out a total of 10,000 survey invitations and 300 paper survey questionnaires to Texas restaurants and bars, in addition to emailing several hundred establishments a survey invitation. We received more than 200 responses via the internet and mail. The restaurants who participated in our survey constitute a cross-section of the restaurant industry. The diverse types of restaurants allows for a more extensive analysis of the different categories and characteristics. Our mission in conducting this survey is to provide restaurateurs with a meaningful and convenient study in order to improve their operating and financial results in the state of Texas. It is a valuable tomb of operational information for any existing or new restaurant operator of the industry in Texas.
