Our past revisited could be a mere fantasy – or as in class reunions, daunting as tracing the lines in your face as they murmur some sly betrayal. Through an unforeseen windfall, Janine Greenway now has the means to do virtually anything that she could possibly want. She decides to treat her friend and neighbor in light of Desire becoming involved, however indirectly, in Janine’s new found wealth and in her decision to seize the moment, which lends itself to Janine reexamining the incompleteness of her youth. But therein lies Janine’s dilemma – right there in Paris, after a night on the town, the two women now become a mirror for each other. She must free herself from the grip of the bind of money, those now wanting a piece of her wealth and real freedom. This story should speak to those Baby Boomers, who came out of the Sixties and Seventies with their world view one of challenge, yet not of denial and comfort.
