Edward Glantz
Dr. Glantz is a faculty member in the College of Information Sciences and Technology, at the Pennsylvania State University. Dr. Glantz earned a Ph.D. in cognitive science from Penn State, a M.B.A. in strategic management from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, and bachelor’s degrees in mechanical engineering (B.S.) and general arts and sciences (B.A.) from Penn State. Dr. Glantz is a registered Professional Engineer, and holds patents in Internet technologies. Dr. Glantz is married with three children. As a family they actively pursue Civil War living histories with the 148th Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry Company C reenactors. Colonel James A. Beaver, a former Penn State President and Pennsylvania Governor, commanded this unit during the Civil War. Beaver Avenue and Stadium are named in his honor.
