Geoff Stockton is a musician and educator from Kalamazoo, MI. He's played professionally for nearly 20 years in rock, soul, blues, jazz, country and folk bands and he's independently written and recorded hundreds of original compositions in a variety of styles. Geoff primarily taught himself music over the course of his life, studying from old college texts on composition and many of the popular music instruction books for guitar and other instruments. He has attained a striking level of clarity, both in his understanding of the essential musical concepts and his ability to communicate the underlying simplicity of them.
