Meandi Books is a proudly independent publisher founded by publisher Rodney Ramos. The name 'Meandi' derives from the ancient Sanskrit, "Fountain of overflowing joy". However, a further translation has been argued as, "backed-up toilet" and therefore agreeing on a definitive meaning has been a contentious issue.
