Tarik Scott has spent over 25 years in the music industry manifesting his Music Forturne. Starting off as an artist at 10 years old break dancing and then transitioning into rapping. Tarik's music career has been like a magic carpet ride. As an Emcee he has performed at the Hip Hop Legendary Lyricist Lounge and has been featured in the Source magazine Unsigned Hype with his group C4. At the age of 18 he was taking business meeting with music power players such as Lyor Cohen. At 20 he started promoting concerts and booked huge hip hop acts such as the Fugees. Upon graduating Elizabeth City State University with a Degree in Marketing and Minor in Music Industry Studies he went on to form indie lable Amenta RKRDS, and released to vinyl projects that had a great response in Japan, France & Germany. Moving to Atlanta, Ga Tarik teamed up with Hotep Benzo and formed World Premiere and began creating innovative music industry programming such as the Producer's Swap Meet.
