There are always several surrealist answers to any question, whether major or minor. Werner Heisenberg, one of the founders of quantum mechanics, said, that: “while the contrary of an exact statement is a wrong statement, the contrary of a true statement will often be another true statement.” A single thought is really nothing else than the refusal of thinking. We know where that leads. In passing I note that Heisenberg’s view is close to the principle of “l’écart absolu,” the essential concept of Fourier.
