KAYAK

I fell in love with this tune when I had a chance to play it with Kenny Wheeler's Big Band during a week engagement at Birdland. My version is adapted from the arrangement he did on his record, "Kayak." You can hear my version on the record, "Alan Ferber Nonet: Scenes From An Exit Row." Instrumentation: trumpet, trombone, alto/soprano sax (double), tenor sax, bass clarinet, guitar, piano, bass, drums. This download also includes a concert score.
