You will have to remember the abbreviations, understand the stitches and techniques needed, read and follow the step by step directions and at the same time looking at the pictures for help, and if there is something unclear or have any question about the pattern you will need to contact me. However, the ones of you who finishes the pattern, will have gained a valuable experience (maybe learned some new stitches or techniques) and end up with a very lovable octopus that will be a great gift and a new friend that will love any child.
