Amelia is a member of the Cane Toad Hunters, a club that aims to destroy the cane toads which have invaded Australia, unbalancing food chains and endangering many native animals, especially frogs. The Cane Toad Hunters now must fight the Shio Lew, a race of superintelligent cane toads attempting to take over the world. Unless they are wiped out, the world will be taken over.
