BATS is a truly well written piece of non-fiction. This story was authored by a super A student in the third grade at Linda Elementary school in Marysville, California. Miss Cosgrove takes us on an interesting study of a creature that has apparently been getting a bum rap for years from society. Miss Cosgrove starightens us out on bats, and she says, "Bats are so cool!" Are they? Read her story and see what YOU think. Whether you agree with the author or not, two things are certain - she knows her bats, and she is indeed a talented and worthy writer!
