Degausser Volume One

Nathan Perdue believes in order to escape his past heartbreak, all he needs to do is move away to the perfect location - far away from home. Unbeknownst to Nathan, heartbreak will be the least of his concerns. An alcoholic depressive, Nathan is a perfect candidate for removal from this life by the Degausser - a spiritual demon seldom seen and never understood by man kind. From the cold and hostile streets of St Kilda, Melbourne to the mysterious undisclosed forest location, Nathan feels the presence of an 8 year old girl who inches closer every time his grip on reality weakens. In this sinister game of cat and mouse Nathan soon finds himself struggling to regain ownership of a life he never thought he wanted. Degausser Volume One is a story told in Post Modern stylization and the first in a two part series. Degausser presents a new way of reading by challenging the reader to draw their own conclusions in the words and media presented.
