MFA Thesis volume 2

The second volume in a set of 2. My RISD MFA thesis, Abyss without Vertigo. 1600 pages spread over 2 volumes containing almost 10 years of handwritten notes from 23 courses throughout my BA and PhD studies in astrophysics. My new writing on MFA projects and art philosophy is presented next to the lessons where the ideas first originated in my classes. Diagrammatically explained on the cover, the book itself represents a scale metaphor for the volume of our galaxy compared to the explorable volume of all the solar systems in the galaxy. This ratio is the same as the surface area of all 1600 pages compared to the dot that makes the head of the human figure on the back cover.
