The Third Degree

In the third Cameron Scott suspense novel, Cameron's vacation in the North Carolina mountains becomes anything but relaxing when a young lady seated next to him on a tour train keels over dead. By the time the train reaches the station, the police are there, full of questions. although Cameron denies ever meeting the girl before getting on the train, the police want to know why she had a piece of paper in her pocket with his name on it. He has no answer. Cameron quickly becomes a 'person of interest' in the case. When he starts gathering evidence to exonerate himself, he uncovers a murderous enterprise that puts his entire family's lives in danger.
