A woman awakes in a strange bed. Though she is overcome by a wave of sickness that leaves her temporarily crippled, she is aware that the same illness afflicts her every morning. She cannot remember why. Her guardians told her she was involved in an accident that left her without a memory, but she cannot accept it. A man awakes with a blinding headache and a voice in his ear. It is a woman he does not recognize, but she says she is his wife. He cannot remember her, and he soon realizes that he cannot remember anything else either. A chance glance across a busy market inescapably links them. Surrounded by strangers, they are alone, and they must fight to figure out who they are, what happened to them, and how they are connected.
