Lock Down

Heather Spars lives in a perfect world. She and her family are part of a trial city for ten years. This city is a prototype for how all cities will be in the future if the trial succeeds. As the city enters into the seventh year of its trial, a black out causes the city to shut down for one night. The next morning, with the power back on, remains of one of the younger citizens is found in the incinerator. The body is identified as Lexie Daniels, the daughter of the city’s biggest financial supporter. The city itself is put on lockdown. Only authorities are allowed to enter and leave as the investigation of Lexie Daniel’s murder goes on. Mr. Daniels threatens to stop funding the city. The life Heather Spars has known begins to spiral into chaos.
