Bartholomew

Batholomew Barnel lives on the shelves of the William Wayne Public Library at the Children's Department between the pages of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and the Three Muskateers. One day he was discovered by two children who told the Children's Librarian that they had discovered a real talking bookworm. At first Ms Dubois did not believe Charles but as she was shelving the books on her trolley, Ms Dubois made an awesome discovery and Bartholomew became Story Time Mascott. Then a riot breaks out when a mob of angry parents threaten to shut down and boycott the library if they do not remove Bartholomew and fumigate the library. But when a fire breaks out at the library and two children are trapped inside it is Bartholomew who saves them, thus becoming a local hero.
