In a small Nebraska town, a young man mourning the death of his mother, accidentally stumbles upon a form of communication with those beyond the grave. This triggers off a chain of events that changes his life and those around him. He confronts his guilt over things undone as he reflects on his relationship with those no longer with him. Finally, events overtake him.
