This book is the memoir of William P Atkinson, a tailor in Barnoldswick, written c.1915. It is a wonderful personal view crammed with names and stories and is the best source for the town of that period. Transcribed and illustrated from a manuscript in Barnoldswick Library and with a foreword by Jill Harwood, one of William's descendants. Local history writing at its finest.
