Ancrom's Tale

(Rated Teen for some violence and mild drug reference) Welcome to twenty-third century Earth, where technology obeys the brain impulses of a user and dirty dealings get traded around like a used Christmas present. As the first Dragon to be created, Ancrom holds a powerful position—strong, intelligent, and the leader of a species with advanced combat methods and healing abilities. He, along with his brothers and sisters, has been trained since birth to be an unfeeling, ruthless killing tool used on those opposed to the hands that control him. Yet as he plants fear in the minds of humans and razes establishments for the purposes of revenge and theft, something within him groans at all that he has been created to be. Caught in the middle of greed and betrayal, he will come to face a decision that was never intended to come about: he must either remain as he is and go on to provide unchallenged power to the facility that created him— Or listen to his heart and abandon all he has to do the right thing.
