If writing is therapy, I should be getting well soon. And, while not as reliable as alcohol, the hangovers are hardly noticeable. Most of my writing takes place during times of intense career work and/or relationship stress and is responsible for the frequent excess of cursing and sexual content. Without question, my written work is the product of escapism. Reading the works of Henry Miller, Hunter S. Thompson and Leonard Shlain has influenced what I enjoy putting on a page. I also enjoy the edit and re-write process, although the reader may question the effectiveness of the process. My sincerest hope is my reader will have a level of fun in reading that approaches the fun of writing Road Seven
