Robert is a philosopher, engineer, and writer who looks for ways to connect his passions into a cohesive whole. Professionally, Robert has been building software and accessible human-computer interfaces for more than three decades. In that time he has been in nearly every engineering role both on and off the web, from system administration, site reliability, and database design to software and user interface engineer. In those three decades, he has built small, medium, and large-scale applications in both the public and private sectors, working for government agencies, startups, and Fortune 100 companies serving well over 100 million active users globally. Whether thinking about the next project or relaxing, Robert and his wife share responsibility for a small herd of children, both with and without fur, in the southwestern desert of the United States.
