Piroska Blanchette is an empty nester, with 3 grown children, and lives in NW Ontario with her husband of 32 years. A transplant to Canada (from Switzerland), Piroska writes about her childhood, her struggle through depression, and the healing journey entwined with love and hope. Her poetry encapsulates every detail of rawness that women in society deal with but few talk about. In her time, passion was a 4-letter word. The truth was meant to be buried. In this journey there is nothing but honesty ~ sensual, sexual and blunt.She walks the line between passion and sensibility, freedom and responsibility.Through writing, she found solace.
