She has been an avid player of fantasy RPGs since the early 1980’s. That would be the original advanced edition, of course; we’ll have none of those new-fangled revisions in our house! She has also been known to amuse her friends on New Year’s Eve by producing mind-bendingly complex murder mystery games. She is, of course, a voracious consumer of fantasy and science fiction. Best series ever published? Hambly’s The Time of the Dark. Well, either that or Tolkein’s overly-brief treatment of the destruction of an evil ring, but one tries not to be too predictable. In May of 2004, after some thirty-five years of writer’s block, she started work on Thorne’s Quest, and the floodgates opened. "Thorne’s Quest: The Young Venduinn" is the sixth book in the series. She is currently (summer of 2011) working on revising "A Singular Hinnitha" and "The Commanding Hostage", the last two books of the eight-book series.
