The mid-1400s
A murder streak of tremendous proportion is sweeping across Europe. The victims are left bloodless and mutilated. The humans start calling their new predators vampires.
Several of the original surviving immortals sense the handy work of an old enemy and begin their investigation. Many are killed in their attempt to help to help the humans.
