Maid and Monarch

How does a maid become a Queen? By marrying a King you say? Could it really be that simple? 'Maid and Monarch' follows the journey of poverty stricken Rowena; persuaded to pose as a castle maid, she finds herself falling completely and unconditionally in love with the greedy, selfish King Harland. Rags to riches may be her journey, but she is faced with a long meandering road of painful losses, gruesome executions and burning desire before she can truly embrace her ascension, her crown and her destiny.
