Salinger fans?
Hello?
John Irving fans?
Anyone?
Have you heard of “Duck’s Salinger-Irving Game?”
It’s about an over-enthusiastic reader’s obsession with an imagined link between two of his favorite authors in American Literature – and with Anti-Semitism. He finds some wild facts about these writers and creates a maze- that he can’t get out of.
It is Fiction! It is Humor! – but Duck won’t believe it.
If this ever gets pitched in Hollywood as a movie idea, the description “THE DAVINCI CODE meets ANIMAL HOUSE” might be appropriate.
You gotta meet this guy. And, if you want to do the GAME, be sure to drop breadcrumbs, so you can get back to normalcy. (I know how you Salinger fans are.)
