The Captain

Jack Honan, a 35-year-old schoolteacher lives in Northern Ireland with his wife Joclyn and his three children. He is also a member of the Royal Naval Reserve where he is the Captain of the Minesweeper HMS Lagan. During one of his training exercises he and his ship are transported, through a portal, to another land. Here they encounter warring seafaring nations who have also been transported to this land as well as encountering the manipulations and schemes of the beautiful Queen who rules the land and the magical manifestations of the land’s two feuding magicians.
