The Power From Within

The world is dying. Cities lie in ruins, forests swallow highways, and the streets are haunted by the infected. Once ordinary people, now twisted into relentless, hollow-eyed creatures by a spreading corruption. Worse still, some victims don’t turn at all. They are transformed into lifeless stone statues, frozen in their final moments. In the middle of the wreckage, five kids are trying to survive. Four of them wield powers: earth, fire, air, and water. The fifth has no element to command but carries the knowledge and strength. Long ago, a powerful gem kept the world in balance. When it shattered into four pieces, nature collapsed, the infected rose, and people began turning to stone. Now the fragments are scattered across the state. If the five can find the pieces and restore the gem, they can heal the world and free those trapped in stone. Each fragment strengthens their abilities. There is a lingering fear in them as they continue their journey. What will happen to them? To save everything and everyone, they’ll have to risk everything.
