There is satire and metaphor so if you have questions, it has answers. (If you have answers, it has riddles.) Pretty much everyone is armed with at least a sword and some have magical weapons. A society from the future suffers a crisis and only these bachelors can save them! Due to societal restrictions concerning serendipity, the magen (mage-madiens) are outcasts. The Eetequin people are educated workers of the town Eetequ and the YinYinites are citizens of the city YinYin. The currency of the world is a seemingly metaphysical token which rewards human epiphany; therefore, the group cannot travel unless they make self-realized progress. Philosophy, satire, historical figures and futuristic tech all combine for an adventurous search for truth both in the past and the solarpunk future.
