Look, I know it feels like everything and everyone is filled with bullshit lately. It’s easy to feel overwhelmed and surrounded by bullshit. Sometimes, we need help cutting out the bullshit and taking in serenity.
We’re not about to pretend the bullshit isn’t real. This is not some toxic positivity trap where we spout “good vibes only!” and never actually solve anything. At the same time, ruminating on everything awful can lead to burnout, and you can’t topple oppressive systems when your gas tank is on empty.
Inhale serenity.
Even in the most chaotic tornado, glimmers of calm exist. We can hold gratitude even as everything falls apart. Find your daily serenity.
Exhale bullshit.
We have to name it to tame it. Process it, hold it, and release any hold it has on you. Release the bullshit.
Use this journal daily (or whenever you remember it) to jot down what you’re grateful for, taking in serenity. Then, write what you need to release, letting out the bullshit.
